My site is devoted to showing what great deals can be had with using coupons and combining them with your shopper card sales and special deals at the stores you shop at every day. If anyone is interested in learning more about how to get started doing what I do, how to set up an organization system for your coupons, or just any questions in general, please feel free to leave me a message and I will get in contact with you.

CVS 5/12/2010

Okay friends, here is this week's shop - not very exciting. They did not have the razors I wanted so I got my raincheck - ALWAYS remember to get your rainchecks at CVS. I think I paid more than I wanted to, because I did not feel like reworking my deals after they did not have my razors. But here goes anyway:

Retail = 50.69 OOP = 3.95 + 16 ECBs ECBs earned: 21.97 ====== Profit of $2.02

Okay the 2 items in the front are Revlon lipsticks that were B1G1 50% off. I used 2 of the 2/1 coupons from the paper, and I had 2 CVS coupons for $3/1 product and $3/$15 purchase of Revlon.

The toothpaste was on sale for $3.50 and get $3.50 in ECBs, and I also used a 75 cent coupon - making it a money maker also.

The Always liners were $1.00 and I had a $1.00 off coupon so they were free.

The tampons were on sale for $4.99 and get 4.99 in ECBs and I also had a coupon for $1 off and a CVS coupon for $1 off - making it a $2 moneymaker.

The Poise pads (which go in my donate box to a particular person who has given me a needs list) were $2.69 but I had a CVS coupon for $1.50 off and a Q for .75 off, making them only 44 cents.

Now remember, I do use 3 CVS cards (one in my name, one in BFs name, and one not registered to anyone as the person who was supposed to use it said they "could not afford to shop at CVS" and gave it to me!!! Can you imagine anyone saying they cannot afford free? Well, she did....

Hope you all have a great week!

  1. You did great! I didn't know about the Revlon lipstick, lol. I will have to see if I have those coupons. I love the way that you are keeping a track of your costs and savings. Very inspiring!
